As a SBA Packaging and Closing Specialist you will monitor the SBA Division portfolio to ensure compliance with financial reporting, appropriate insurance is maintained, and other ongoing requirements are met. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including coordinating with loan operations or outside legal counsel and bankers for loan closings, reviewing advance requests on draw term and construction loans for compliance with SOP and execute advance requests from borrowers pursuant to terms and conditions of loan documentation, and maintaining compliance with ongoing portfolio management and credit policy and provide reporting support for portfolio compliance as needed. Also you will review loan documents to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and bank policy, prepare 4506T submissions and ensure results are reconciled to financial statements as a fraud prevention measure, prepare and submit ETran, SBA One and other credit submissions to SBA for Authorization, servicing action notices, and any other SBA requirements. Additionally, SBA Packaging and Closing Specialist are expected to prepare SBA loan documents (1920, 147, 148, 148L, 1050, Certifications, Authorizations, and others) in order to properly complete the SBA file requirements, review all due diligence items are in accordance with SBA SOP prior to submission for guaranty, and on non-delegated transactions, prepare and submit the 10-Tab for SBA Guaranty Origination. You will conduct pre-closing file audits for SBA compliance and to ensure all conditions of approval, including receipt the SBA guaranty, have been met and documented, build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements. Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 years of experience with SBA Loan Packaging or equivalent conventional due diligence experience.
- 3 years of loan operations and general bank administration.
Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:
- NAGGL/Coleman certificate in SBA Servicing and Liquidation SOP 50 57, SOP 5010
- 2 years of experience within an SBA Loan Division or Loan Service Provider supporting SBA packaging, servicing, documentation, and submission activities.
- 5 years of loan operations.
- Experience with FIS/IBS Metavante, ETran, and SBA One

Work Environment:
- Office setting with traditional hours.
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours).
- Must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.

- Must be able to work additional hours outside routine business hours to the extent necessary.
- Must be able to travel - estimated at 5% to 15% of the time.
