Details Client NameSt. Barnabas Hospital Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyER Job ID29513184 Job TitleSBH - Level 3 ER RN DAY Weekly Pay$2574.49 Shift Details ShiftDay - 11.5x3 - 07AM Scheduled Hours34 Job Order Details Start Date12/18/2024 End Date03/22/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Day Shift Job Specialty: Emergency Room Nursing Job Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 3x11.5, Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience License: New York RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - De-escalation certification- Ventilator experience- COVID vaccination card indicating completed series Job Description: - Assess patients' clinical conditions by recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations, prioritizing, and immediately taking proper action.- Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when a physician is not immediately available.- Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.- Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician, including medications and IV therapy affecting hemodynamic status, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.- Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and status of coordinated activities between nursing and other professional disciplines.- Document specific health care requirements for patients and prepare written assignments for individual team members, matching staff skills and abilities to patient care needs.- Plan and develop care delivery and implementation of the care plan, coordinating the documentation of care.- Share responsibility for maintaining adequate supplies, equipment, and general upkeep of the unit while ensuring a safe environment.- Must be able to handle a heavy patient ratio in a fast-paced environment and be aware of possible float to ICU, Telemetry, and vent unit.- Ability to work effectively on weekends and holidays.- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
