Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Nursing Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x11.5 Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Minimum of 34.5 hours Experience: 3 years of ICU experience License: RN License to practice in the respective state or eligibility through reciprocity Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (Can be obtained upon acceptance of offer) Must-Have: - Efficient in managing patients with external ventricular drains, multiple medication drips, and using Hemosphere Flotrac- Proficiency in managing trauma patients of varying severities- Experience performing assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS- Familiarity with hypothermia treatment care- Knowledge of pleurevac chest tube drainage- Familiar with the use of EPIC EMR- Strict adherence to isolation precautions and hygiene protocol- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and critical care practices- Familiarity with the use of PCA pumps Job Description: - Work primarily night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with the requirement to work every other weekend and holidays.- Provide high-quality care in an ICU setting with a patient ratio of 1:1-2.- Float to stepdown, SICU, MICU as needed.- Wear royal blue scrubs.- Ensure patient safety and provide effective care utilizing necessary medical equipment and technology.- Engage in continuous education to maintain necessary skills and certifications.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
