SBP Disaster Response & Recovery
SBP is a social impact organization focused on disaster resilience and recovery. We're seeking passionate leaders to join our AmeriCorps team and support more than 10,000 annual volunteers in rebuilding homes. Our work returns more than 800 people to safe, sanitary, and secure living conditions after natural disasters each year. AmeriCorps members serving with SBP directly impact our clients' lives by coordinating construction projects, organizing volunteers, and supporting clients with the application and rebuilding process. AmeriCorps members achieve measurable results for our clients, gain leadership experience and create connections with volunteers and corporate partners. Join us as an AmeriCorps member and you will develop skills in public speaking, problem-solving, and (for our construction team) home construction. You will also receive coaching and mentorship from SBP managers that are invested in your success as a leader! We are always recruiting, and our available locations change throughout the year. Over the next year, we anticipate start dates in October 2024, January 2025, May 2025, and July 2025! Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.
