**Job Description**
The selected candidate will perform a variety of supply/acquisition/administrative duties in support of customers, project managers, and acquisition staff including:
+ Handling orders such as choosing which specific product or material from product lines will satisfy the customer's needs, or determining the price to be quoted
+ Researching status of open orders
+ Maintaining & updating reports & MELs
+ Reconciling orders to resolve discrepancies
+ Assisting acquisition staff with research of part information & supplier contacts
+ Scanning & copying of procurement packages
+ Working with warehouse staff to resolve quantity or item discrepancies upon receipt
+ Assisting acquisition staff with answering data calls and performing research
+ Coordinating with suppliers and shippers to expedite delivery of material, as needed
Will be expected to effectively communicate with all levels of BAE Systems as well as outside entities such as government agencies, commands, and suppliers.
The hourly rate for this position is set by the Dept of Labor and is not negotiable. Current rate is $18.94/hr.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experience in an office environment
Proficient typing skills
Ability to move quickly between tasks / assignments
Experience working with MS Office products

Aptitude to quickly learn, fully understand, and effectively use government & company systems
**Pay Information**
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
