Job Title: SCADA/PLC Project Manager

Job Overview
We seek an experienced SCADA/PLC Project Manager to lead automation projects for a diverse portfolio of clients in manufacturing, packaging, and other industrial sectors. This role involves guiding the integration of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. You'll manage all project lifecycle phases from design and development to commissioning and validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, programming, and implementation of PLC/SCADA systems for automation projects.
- Collaborate with customers to understand and refine requirement specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and teams to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Oversee system commissioning, testing, and debugging of electrical and software components.
- Provide ongoing technical support during customer site installation, startup, and operation phases.
- Develop and deploy HMI applications database solutions and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, developers, and field technicians, to drive project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA system development.
- Expertise in Rockwell Logix5000, Logix500, and FactoryTalkView ME/SE programming.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Practical communication skills, both written and oral, to coordinate with clients and team members.
- Ability to travel to customer sites for installations and commissioning.
- A local and stable work history is required.
