Scaffold Builder Corpus Christi Texas AreaThe Scaffold Builder will play a crucial role in our construction and maintenance projects, ensuring the safe and efficient assembly and disassembly of scaffolding structures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in scaffold construction and a strong commitment to safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Safely assemble and disassemble scaffolding structures according to industry standards and project requirements.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to determine the layout and design of scaffolds.
- Inspect and maintain scaffold equipment, ensuring that it is in proper working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate scaffold construction activities with overall project schedules.
- Perform regular safety checks and inspections on scaffolds to ensure their stability and reliability.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and codes related to scaffold construction and workplace safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress and any issues that may arise during scaffold construction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scaffold Builder in an industrial construction or maintenance setting.
- Certification in scaffold construction and relevant safety training (e.g., OSHA 30) is preferred.
- Knowledge of scaffold construction materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
- Strong commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety protocols.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
