Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $14.50 - $14.50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.What you'll be doing as a Scalehouse Attendant:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers depositing waste at a waste management facility, greet customers, direct customers and other traffic, and answer customer questions
- Approach all encounters with employees, customers and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Calculate correct payments for customers.
- Ensure that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.
- Ensure that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Provide general upkeep of the Scale House.
- Complete all administrative tasks including regular filing, and complete required reports.
- Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention.
- Attend company sponsored training and meetings as directed.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including data entry and minor customer service responsibilities.
Available shifts:Shift Timings - All AvailableJob requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Valid Drivers License
- Background check and drug screening required
