Job Description: ATTORNEYS TITLE FUND SERVICES Purpose of Position: The position is responsible for matching and validating policy information from one system to the corresponding recorded documents in another system. You will process and post the information. Complete requests for policies from our customers and also internal customers including Branch, Title Plant and Legal staff. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Scanning documents from one system to a newer system and matching and verifying info.
  • Process policies through the workflow and posts the policy information into our software system.
  • Verify appropriate information on the policy to the corresponding information in our system.
  • Post legal descriptions for policies received for off-line counties, utilizing basic mapping knowledge or route policies to the mapping department for more complex mapping.
  • Research documents that cannot be immediately posted. Has responsibility to correctly verify kickouts to be researched and routed to the Analysts.
  • Communicate with the analysts in identifying and correcting problems.
  • Process policies into the property system after issues have been resolved.
  • Ensure that policy folders correctly reflect processing status.
  • Responsible for recognizing and elevating problems and providing useful information on potential problems.
  • Receive and process inbound requests for prior policies via phone, email or fax.
  • Retrieve policy dates to search and scan policies utilizing internal systems and equipment.
  • Submit policies to customers in a timely manner.
  • Perform quality control on printed requests and if image issue exists, order corrections from proper sources.
  • Make corrections to documents.
  • Prepare invoices and tracks receipt of payment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience:
  • One to two years administrative experience in a fast-paced production department required.
  • One year of Customer Service experience required.
  • Six months experience in title policy processing with emphasis in land records, preferred.
  • Knowledge of the title insurance and information industry is preferred
