Job Description:
TITLE: Scene Shop Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Visual/Performing Arts
SUPERVISOR: Mary Dillon
SSTA APPROVER: Mary Dillon
SCHEDULE: 18.5 hours per week
General Statement of Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee construction of scenic designs
Assist with the load-in of scenic objects
Maintain scene design for the run of the production
Oversee dismantling of scenery starting after the last performance
Maintain scenic tools for A165
Must attend removal of construction debris from A165 during the build and during the
Dismantling of scenery
Return Fuller Theatre (A264) to a neutral state to allow for classes
Maintain a receptive, inclusive work environment
Maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
The ability to lift 40#
BA in Theatre with experience in scenic construction or scenic design
Experience managing small crews
Experience in educational theatre production
