About The RoleAbout this opportunityLocation: Naperville, IllinoisGleeds is an independent global Construction consultancy, specializing in Program and Project Management, Project Controls and Strategic Advisory. Due to our plans for growth in the US market, we have an opening for a Scheduler to support a variety of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, management and updating of the project schedules and baselines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Creation of Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Develop schedules around project WBS
  • Understand and incorporate logic into the schedule
  • Define the critical path
  • Incorporate resources and budgets into the schedule
  • Schedule Baseline management
  • Develop milestone reporting schedule
  • Undertake monthly progress updates
  • Review % complete against the weighted milestones and rules of credit
  • Validate progress on sub-contractors' schedules
  • Attend site meetings
  • Forecast completion dates
  • Forecast future resource requirements
  • Develop and publish look ahead reports
  • Earned Value Management
  • Support cash flow forecasting with schedule reports and forecast completion dates
  • Incorporate agreed change orders into the schedule
  • Distribution of schedule data.
  • Cost management experience advantageous.

About YouWho we're looking for:Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
  • Industrial or commercial sector project experiences
  • 5+ years project scheduling experience
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • SmartPM experience is a plus
  • Scheduling experience with a General Contractor or EPC would be highly advantageous.
  • Thoroughly understands and utilizes Information Technology in the performance of their work including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related Engineering Field or equivalent industry experience.
