Job Description:

TekSystems is currently hiring for a Scheduler in the Baltimore area! This position will have a HYBRID schedule after training!

MUST HAVE: Any experience within the scheduling of drug screens, medicals or background checks preferred! MUST be open to going on site and being remote. ALSO Open to a recent bachelor's degree with an interest of this role!

Description:

1. Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies,

procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.

2. Ensures compliance with standard onboarding practices and procedures.

3. Follows-up with appropriate departments/vendors/candidates at various of stages of process to ensure required

documentation is accurate and timely.

4. Maintains HR electronic files and records, assists with human resources support activities.

5. May answer questions regarding general employment practices, employee benefits, and other HR policies.

6. Monitors and reviews all returned employment documents and final review of employment application, immigration,

background checks, pre-employment health screen, required training, etc., for necessary completion prior to moving to

next step in the hire process.

7. Partners with recruiters to send, receive, and track required pre-employment documentation for new hires;

communicates with hiring managers, recruiters, Occupational Health, and new hires on an ongoing basis.

8. Responds to questions and requests from internal and external customers.

9. Responsible for creation and maintenance of associate employment files.

10. Responsible for preparation of new hire paperwork for orientation and entry into HRIS system.

11. Responsible for the successful and timely on-boarding of all new hires once final offer is accepted and the associate

attends orientation. Proactively identifies barriers to timely new hire onboarding and engages new hires and/or additional

team members as needed to resolve.

12. Responsible for successful follow up and timely transfer of current internal associates moving to new roles with MedStar

Health, to include proper confirmation of all required documentation and entry into HRIS system.

13. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of assigned duties.

14. Stays in constant communication with candidates, recruiters and hiring managers to ensure timely completion of all

required steps of the hiring process.

15. Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts.

16. Participates in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams.

17. Performs other duties as assigned.

Delivers a superior new-hire experience by providing a high level of customer service and maintaining quality throughout the preemployment

on-boarding process from the time the offer letter is signed, until after the associate begins employment.

Responsible for the timely completion of full cycle onboarding process for new associates beginning their career.

Health as well as current associates transitioning to new roles with the system.

This would be for the file project! They will not be heavily on the phones this would be assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and updating information into their system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1-2 years of Onboarding experience, administration experience, or something similar.

1-2 years of recent high volume scheduling experience or administrative experience, or HR Experience.

Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required!

MUST CLEAR COMPLIANCE: Covid Vaccination, TB test, Drug, Flu shot (when in season), High School Diploma, and Background Check.
