Job Description:
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph requiredPosition The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America's intelligence satellites. Develop. Acquire. Launch. Operate. Apogee's ideal Scheduler will assist in maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule with integrated milestones and linked dependencies across Infrastructure Services as well as System and Enterprise level Domain milestones. Monitor performance against this schedule to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met and facilitate modifications as required. What You'll Do
  • Compiling, updating, and delivering the Integrated Master Schedule with integrated milestones and linked dependencies
  • Schedule and assist in process improvements that will benefit integrating schedules
  • Gather and consolidate schedule data from staff meetings, engineering boards, readiness events, engineering artifacts, and board approved Request for Change (RFC) documentation, etc.
  • Format Microsoft Project documentation in presentable form to include call out boxes, graphics etc. in support of product delivery milestones
  • Operate the Enterprise Schedule Server Tool, input data, produce reports, and generate schedule artifact
  • Perform critical path analysis to help develop mitigation plans of schedule change impacts and associated risks
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or other STEM degree program or related equivalent additional experience, related in technical discipline
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Project, critical path analysis
  • 3+ years in Systems Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years in developing/managing complex project schedules in a multi-contractor/customer environment
  • Proficient in analytical skills and ability to develop and recommend solutions for problems/issues
Desired Skills
  • Experience with GEOINT, SIGINT and/or COMM systems and overall space and ground architecture
  • Experience with core Systems Engineering Disciplines (Requirements, Schedule, Risk, Readiness, System Closure, VV&T, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community, and associated government agencies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and ability to lead technical forums
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Tools
