**SCHEDULER**

**Location:** Coatsville, PA

**Status:** Full Time

**Shift:** Monday - Friday, 8am to 430 pm

**Position Purpose:**

This primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and schedule external appointments participants according to participant needs and care plan designed by the interdisciplinary team. Will work closely with the transportation department, participants, caregivers, and center staff.

**Position Details:**

Hours will be worked exclusively at the facility site.

**What you will do:**

+ Maintain accurate participant schedules, including service details as per care plans.

+ Notify managers of scheduling changes requiring a physician's order.

+ Record scheduling updates daily and respond promptly to participant referrals.

+ Coordinate with all departments involved in participant appointments.

+ Ensure nursing completes participant education before appointments.

+ Use electronic scheduling systems; schedule Aides services as determined by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).

+ Track training and medical clearances for agency personnel.

+ Review agency invoices for accuracy and forward for approval.

+ Create TruChart authorizations and transportation appointments.

+ Remind participants/caregivers of appointments.

+ In the absence of the manager, review agency invoices for accuracy of billed agency hours and forwards onto the Nursing leader for approval, if applicable.

+ Create TruChart authorization, transportation appointment, escort appointment, etc.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ 1 year scheduling experience required

+ 1 year experience with a frail or elderly population, or appropriate training upon hiring.

+ Associate degree preferred.

+ Previous medical scheduling experience strongly preferred.

+ One year of customer service experience serving as the first point of contact via email/phone/in person strongly preferred.

+ Strong customer service, organizational and conflict management skills

+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills and flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and changing priorities.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); basic knowledge and experience with electronic mail and calendaring system.

+ Ability to use other software as required to perform the essential functions of the job.

+ Position may require 10% of travel within the Centers geographic region.
