SUMMARY

Develops, updates, and monitors plant integrated online and outage schedules for operations maintenance, engineering, modifications and projects to assure execution in a safe and cost-efficient manner. Interfaces with site organizations and contractors to identify activities to be performed, the logic in which they are to be accomplished, establishment of durations/resources for activity performance, schedule reports and historical lessons learned documentation. Develops, updates, and maintains assigned portions of plant schedules. Monitors and analyzes schedule performance and reports significant variances to supervision.

EDUCATION

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science. (Preferred)

- Other: Without a degree, 5 years journey-level experience in plant operations, maintenance, chemical operations or health physics, or 5 years scheduling or project management experience. (Required)

EXPERIENCE

- 2 Years + experience with Primavera P6 Software. (Preferred)

- 2 Years + scheduling experience in plant operations, maintenance, health physics, chemical operations, scheduling or project management. (Preferred)

- Primavera P6 Basic User Training (Required)

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

- There is no Certification or Licensure Listed

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

WORK CONTROL SCHEDULING:

- Resolves schedule related issues with stakeholders. Monitors scheduled vs. actual performance in support of station performance indicators. Monitors for declining trends.

- Develops special project schedules to support emergent plant requirements. Develops, updates, and maintains forced outage schedules.

- Monitors and analyzes schedule performance for significant variances to and recommend necessary action. Develops schedule fragnets, manpower histograms and scheduling reports in support of customer requirements.

- Ensures personnel qualifications are maintained through training and individual development.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

- Accept ERO position as needed.

- Accept outage position as needed.

SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.

- Ability to use standard scheduling techniques to prepare schedules and statistical performance reports.

- Knowledge of company, station, department procedures and policies. Ability to learn plant systems sufficient to perform the optimal work sequence scheduling of activities.

- Ability to communicate effectively, in a professional manner (both oral and written). Ability to work with others in a professional manner and be able to work with different groups/departments on short notice.

- Ability to use, or learn to use, site computer management systems and software for development, issue and maintenance of schedules and reports.

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed.

- Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.

- Normal office environment during non-outage periods. Required to carry the duty scheduler rotational pager.
