Position SummaryAs a Scheduler with Hoosier Village, you will be work with nursing staff to ensure we are providing the best care for our residents. You will work with staffunder the direction of nursing and medical staff. The shifts are Monday - Friday and we require on call weekend rotation every seven weeks.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain an employee work schedule for RNs, LPNs, QMAs and CNAs in UKG Advance Scheduler, to ensure 24-hour coverage with the nursing services department.
- Enter the schedule into the scheduling system, and adjust daily as needed, to capture a real-time accurate depiction of hours worked by employees on each unit.
- Approve and adjust timecards for all nursing employees during payroll.
- Maintain all nursing staff training hours and add/change hours on timecard to reflect training.
- Track, order and maintain all nursing supplies
- Maintain an effective relationship with all departments and professional staff; and participated on facility committees as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Health Center.
Qualifications
- Certified as a QMA in Indiana and in good standing
- Scheduling experience preferred
- Computer experience: Word and Excel
- Insulin certified
