Overview:

The Community Scheduler/Medication Aide is responsible for preparing and publishing the associate schedule for the community while ensuring proper staffing levels are maintained per regulation and overtime is minimized. This position also ensure that residents receive comprehensive care and services by assisting them in the administration of medications and activities of daily living. The Scheduler/MA will also monitor staffing schedules while minimizing overtime, based on community needs. The Scheduler/RMA will also cover RMA shifts as needed. Team members must possess a big heart and a need to serve while you monitor the resident's comfort and respond to their physical and emotional needs. (Medication Aide/ Medication Technician Certification is required)

Position: Full-time with varied hours and every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite, email, scheduling software, preferably Paycom.
  • Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle swing shifts and the individual availability of all staff.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Staffing and scheduling experience preferred.
  • (Medication Aide/ Medication Technician Certification is required)
  • Experience in Medication management and resident care is required.
