SCHEDULER - OPERATING ROOM

Summary This is a part-time, 24 hour per week position.The Scheduler in the Operating Room is responsible for the booking/scheduling of complex procedures and appointments to ensure appropriate continuum of care from pre- through post-procedure care. The Scheduler verifies and enters patient demographics, insurance data, medical information and accuracy of order.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.

License/Certifications: N/A

Experience: Two years of scheduling experience or customer service role in a medical field preferred. Completion of Medical Terminology course preferred.
