Job Summary:# Provides complete access management to the patient population that utilizes the services of CaroMont Health, including font office support, responsibility for positive patient identification, and providing excellent customer service to the population served.# This also encompasses#registration, pre-registration, verification, authorization, referral management, compliance, schedule coordination, coding and billing.# Demonstrates understanding of insurance requirements relative to rehab services, and functions as a liaison between patients, therapist, physician offices, and third party payers.# Responsible for collecting applicable patient responsibility from patients and provides direct financial counseling and/or staff support to those patient with no or inadequate third party coverage.# Responsible for medical records oversight and management.# # Qualifications: #High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year experience in customer service required.# Registration, scheduling or patient accounts in a healthcare environment, preferred. Demonstrates strong customer service skills. #Considerable knowledge of insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, collections, and other business, office-related duties.# Special Skills/Abilities:# Excellent communication and decision making skills, ability to multi-task, and demonstrates competency with basic computer usage. # EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
