About the Position: Join a dynamic team in Monterey, California, as the Scheduling Administrator, serving as the central point of contact for managing foreign language training programs. You will oversee the quota management, course scheduling, and future trends in training requirements. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to solve technical scheduling challenges and publish the master's training schedule while ensuring compliance with established policies.
Key Responsibilities: - Quota Management & Scheduling: Coordinate and manage training quotas for resident and nonresident foreign language programs. Publish and manage the master schedule for the program year.
- Data Compilation: Compile and analyze data to identify future training trends and needs.
- Automated System Management: Verify and ensure accurate entry of training requirements into systems such as the Army Training Requirements Resource System (ATRRS).
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve technical issues related to class scheduling and student enrollment systems.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure class schedules align with established policies and procedures, and assist in developing detailed training plans and schedules.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the liaison for various stakeholders, including students and staff, to ensure training objectives are met efficiently.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications: Specialized Experience: - One year of specialized experience that includes:
- Reviewing and processing training requests.
- Maintaining internal training calendars.
- Preparing training reports (attendance, cancellations, quota requirements).
- Using automated systems or databases to manage training requests.
Education Requirements: - Master's degree or equivalent graduate education (or 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education).
- Combination of education and experience also considered.
