Scheduling & Staffing Coordinator
(M-F, 9am-5pm with 30-minute lunch break; rotational on-call)
Language desired: Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog
Overview:
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for (1) ensuring that client care schedules are up to date and staffed in order to ensure that clients are receiving the highest level of support services and continuity of care, (2) ensuring effective management of caregivers, and (3) maintaining adequate supply of caregivers by continually recruiting and hiring. This position entails applying initiative in day-to-day operations including participating in new client development programs.
Primary Areas of Responsibilities:
Scheduling-related activities
Phone in-takes
Recruiting, on-boarding and training new-hires
Establishing trust, credibility and positive working relationships with caregivers, clients and client families through timely and reliable communications by phone, text and emails
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Regular communication with caregivers, clients, and client families
Schedules shifts and hours by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients needs
Monitoring a daily visit list to be sure all caregiver shifts are completed for our clients
Communicates new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients
Managing caregivers in all aspects of their day-to-day job duties and responsibilities
Managing all aspects of recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training of caregivers, with the goal of always maintaining an adequate supply of caregivers deployable within service area
Assists with processing data necessary to initiate accurate payroll and billing processes
Participates in on-call rotation as assigned.
General administrative/office tasks
Participates in new client acquisition programs
Works with others to assist in resolution of issues
Weekly reporting of accountabilities
