Homewatch of Princeton/ Bridgewater is seeking a Scheduling and Staffing Coordinator . This position requires compassion and an interest in making a difference in the lives of our clients. In order to succeed in this role, the candidate must possess a can-do attitude, be able to multi-task, and must collaborate effectively with their peers.

The Scheduling and Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of outstanding home care services by serving as primary point of contact for Caregivers. Primary duties include coordinating and monitoring schedules, filling open shifts, and coordinating with the Nursing Supervisor. Timely communication is key to ensure the entire client team is on the same page. In addition, you will be expected to be on-call every other weekend, staffing open shifts/schedule changes as necessary.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Serve as the main point of contact for Caregivers, establishing rapport and building relationships

Schedule and coordinate assigned case load in an efficient, effective, and timely manner, while ensuring outstanding Caregiver and client satisfaction

Handle callouts or emergency schedule changes with little or no advanced notice, identify available Caregivers and notify team of changes

Manage Caregiver PTO and ensure all shifts are covered

Play an active role in weekly roster meetings providing insight about clients and Caregivers

Complete case orientation form

Provide feedback with annual Caregiver performance reviews

Play an active role in the interviewing of Caregivers

Play an active role in orientation and skills assessment training

Be available for On-Call (every other weekend)

Education & Qualifications:

Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Business or related discipline, OR, if no degree, 3 years of consultative customer service experience. Previous scheduling experience preferred.
