Responsibilities
Coordinates and assigns nursing personnel to the nursing units and facilitates accurate communication among flex pool nursing staff. Keeps the Director of Nursing, Program Directors, Nursing Supervisors, and Administrators On-Call updated on staffing issues or concerns in advance of crisis situations.

High School Diploma Three or more years clerical experience. Electric staffing experience preferred Must possess knowledge of staffing and have organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be knowledgeable of and abide by HIPAA regulations with regard to protected health information as defined by HIPAA and PSI. Uses and/or discloses on a daily basis verbal, written and/or electronic PHI in order to perform job duties, as pertains to [CLIENTS' FINANCIAL, DEMOGRAPHIC, AND /OR CLINICAL DATA] and/or [EMPLOYEES'FINANCIAL, DEMOGRAPHIC, AND/OR CLINICAL DATA]. Hospital setting. May include days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays. Some risk involved in the event of aggressive/out-of-control patient. Ability to communicate effectively; ability to effectively utilize communication equipment; physical agility to perform data entry and type. Near visual acuity necessary for reading schedules / phone numbers and for dialing phone and performing data entry. Eye/hand coordination and finger dexterity essential for typing and dialing a phone. Talking and hearing necessary for conversing with staff. Ability to sit, stand/walk for long periods of time.
