Specialty clinic services include Pediatrics, Women's Health, Diabetes Care, Hepatitis C, Urology, Geriatrics, Pain Management, and the FLAG (Fatty Liver and Goals) Clinic.Our Mission: Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care.Job Summary: The Clinic Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for answering multi-line telephone, triaging calls, taking messages, and scheduling appointments. The telephone operator serves as a liaison between caller, medical facilities, and medical support staff. This position efficiently and actively provides excellent customer service by properly greeting, listening, assisting, directing, and closing each call. Performs appointment scheduling, rescheduling, canceling, and confirming.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.One to three years' experience as a switchboard operator preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
