REPORTS TO: Husky Director and HR Generalist/Staffing Manager

JOB SUMMARY: The Staffing Coordinator's job is to support our business operation by masterfully coordinating staffing, creating the schedule, achieving the best caregiver “match”, and responding to employee and client requests. The goal is zero missed shifts, a low stress “no surprises” outcome for clients and caregivers, and satisfied customers and caregivers. This is an hourly position.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm, two on-call shifts a week, and serve in a holiday on-call schedule.

FLEX OPPORTUNITY: The staffing coordinators will be offered a flex opportunity after a 90-day probation period. No matter what, you are responsible for your caseload between 8am - 5pm.

KEY RESULTS AREAS (KRAs)
  • Understand how the company's scheduling rules, systems, and scheduling waterfall described in your Scheduler Training Manual to provide seamless scheduling for our customers and employees fits into our business operation.
  • Communicate clearly with all departments of the companies, across companies, with care staff, and with clients.
  • Properly assign the payroll and billing rates on each shift and ensure that each shift is properly recorded in WellSky.
  • Communicate clearly at the end of each shift to the scheduling team detailing action items and critical updates.
  • Work with HR in support of the orientation success, scheduling needs, hiring assistance (as needed), etc.
  • Master the company's internet scheduling platform WellSky (formally ClearCare).
  • Learn the shared drive, know where/how to access important spreadsheets.
  • Understand the care specialist and client care coordinator schedules to provide seamless and outstanding communication channels.
  • Help develop our caregivers by communicating and modeling the Husky/Longhouse Way.
  • Have a great, positive phone presence and respond to employee and customer requests promptly and enthusiastically.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS
    • A self-starting personality who likes to identify and solve problems.
    • A mind that thrives on bringing order out of chaos.
    • Ability to communicate positively to company employees and clients on a daily basis.
    • Sincere passion to help people live better lives, especially senior citizens.
    • Extremely high personal integrity and reliability.
    • Able to work independently and have a good sense of prioritizing.
    • Excellent English skills, both speaking and writing.
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and the Internet.
    EDUCATION:

    At minimum, 2-years college degree. Preferred four years' worth of college experience. Candidates with business education will be given preference.

    EXPERIENCE:

    At least 2 years of administrative assistant experience with clear evidence of the ability to multitask.

    REFERENCE:

    Previous supervisors going back at least 3 years (or two previous employers) and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
