Our long-term care skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to join our team. The ideal Scheduling Manager will have experience in nursing staff scheduling within a healthcare setting, particularly in skilled nursing facility (SNFs). The role of the Scheduling Manager is essential in ensuring we maintain a full, competent, and motivated workforce to deliver the best possible care to our residents.

Scheduling Manager Key Duties

Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. Manage shift changes, swaps, and replacements to maintain optimal staffing levels.

Staffing levels align with the budgeted PPD based on the census. Compliance with state and federal staffing requirements.

Proficiency with scheduling software, Smartlinx or similar, MS Office, and data entry.

Keep nursing staff updated on schedules and changes.

Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Scheduling Manager Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the long-term care skilled nursing, hospital, or healthcare experience.
• Proven experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position.
