As a Scheduling Coordinator, you'll oversee provider schedules, facilitate communication between departments, and ensure smooth operations across various programs. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining schedules, coordinating appointments, collaborating with clinical teams, and generating reports. This dynamic role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The Scheduling Coordinator position offers

* Opportunity to work with various programs including Psychiatry Services, Outpatient Services, Psychological Testing Services, Recovery Services, and Community Services
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain provider schedules for designated programs within the electronic health records system
* Review and rectify schedule errors in coordination with Client Contact Services
* Assist with caseload management and maintenance as required
* Coordinate program-specific appointments for clients
* Collaborate with clinical teams on caseload management, schedule utilization, and client attendance policies
* Facilitate communication between departments to optimize appointment scheduling
* Generate reports for designated departments to coordinate system-wide appointments
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines in all client and coworker interactions
* Address management needs, including data collection, program evaluation, and electronic health record updates
* Attend required meetings and perform additional duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED required
* Experience in an office setting preferred
Additional Qualifications:
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure guides
* Strong written communication skills for routine reports and correspondence
* Excellent verbal communication abilities, capable of addressing various groups clearly
* Solid mathematical skills, including proficiency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and common-sense understanding
* Ability to establish effective relationships through telephone and in-person interactions
* Willingness to follow direction and accept supervision
* Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check
* Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment
* All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter
* Current driver's license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance
* Physical ability to perform sedentary work, occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force, with the potential for brief periods of walking or standing
