Scheduling Coordinator - Full Time

This is a Full Time position with a primary schedule of 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a highly motivated Scheduling Coordinator, knowledgeable to join our Certified Home Health Agency/Hospice department.

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling providers. The coordinator will also be the liaison to the patient and family to ensure a quality level of care. Coordinator must also develop and have continuous monitoring of the work schedules to meet patient care needs, adjust staffing according to availability of staff and report changes to appropriate supervisors, assurance accuracy of the time reports, and verify hours worked daily.

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree or certification in health administration or related field preferred

* 3+ years of scheduling experience

* Experience in home care / home health: 2 years preferred

* Experience is administrative support roles, preferable in a healthcare setting

* Must be proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word, as well as electronic medical record (EMR) systems

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

* Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
