Job PurposeThe Scheduling Coordinator will monitor the schedule to ensure clients are appropriately scheduled. This will help maximize the provider's clinic time, decreasing client wait time to see their provider. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Experience in clerical functioning and receptionist duties, preferred.
- Experience with Excel and Office 365, preferred.
Core Job Duties
- Schedule psychiatric evaluation appointments for Crisis Center, FCC inpatient treatment facilities, and outside referrals.
- Responsible for scheduling client appointments, and rescheduling client appointments when necessary.
- Communicate with Psychiatric Program Manager to determine provider's days off.
- Responsible for blocking provider's schedules when they will not be available to see clients due to vacation/crisis week/pre planned time off.
- Monitor missed visits report daily and contact clients to reschedule.
- Responsible for scheduling post hospitalization visits to ensure compliance with seven day follow up guideline.
- Schedule clients follow up appointments as needed.
- Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
- Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
- Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency's certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
- Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
