As the Flooring Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and coordination of flooring installation projects. You will work closely with customers, installers, and other internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of the flooring industry.Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain the master schedule for flooring installation projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient utilization of time.- Coordinate with customers, sales representatives, and project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities.- Collaborate with internal teams, including installation crews and suppliers, to ensure availability of materials and resources for each project.- Monitor and track project progress, addressing any delays or issues proactively to minimize disruptions and meet project deadlines.- Communicate project schedules, updates, and changes effectively to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.- Coordinate with installers to assign and schedule jobs based on skillset, location, and project requirements.- Resolve scheduling conflicts and challenges, seeking solutions and alternatives to ensure smooth project execution.- Regularly review and assess the performance of installers, providing feedback, coaching, and support as needed to maintain high-quality work standards.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project schedules, installation details, and customer communications.- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate estimations and timelines for flooring projects during the sales process.- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and installation techniques to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.Requirements- Proven experience in scheduling and coordinating flooring installation projects within the flooring industry.- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to project details.- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address scheduling conflicts and challenges effectively.- Proficient in using scheduling software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.- Knowledge of flooring materials, installation processes, and industry standards is highly desirable.- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.- Leadership qualities to guide and motivate installers, ensuring high-quality workmanship.- A commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering projects on time and within budget.If you are a proactive and well-organized individual with a passion for coordinating flooring installation projects, we invite you to apply for the position of Flooring Scheduling Manager.
