Job Description:
Now Hiring for a FULLY REMOTE Scheudling Supervisor! This is a temporary position, beginning 10/14/2024 and lasting a minimum of four months, the end date yet to be determined by the business. Job Summary:The Behavioral Health Practice Operations team is responsible for achieving the established clinical quality, patient service level and appointment availability across all states for Included Health members. The team is critical in ensuring patients have access to high quality clinicians and ensuring continuity of care. The Behavioral Health Practice Operations team works directly with the clinicians on scheduling optimization, quality metric adherence and policy enforcement, while also supporting operational efficiencies and growth initiatives within the Behavioral Health practice. The Scheduling Supervisor, BH will lead a team of Clinician Schedulers who work closely with the behavioral health clinician practice and will build schedule templates and execute schedule changes according to clinician availability and practice expectations. The Scheduling Supervisor will support the expedited training and onboarding of the scheduling team and provide ongoing oversight of the scheduling team's task and performance. The Scheduling Supervisor will also be assigned a small group of clinicians in which they will be responsible for schedule builds and changes in order to have hands-on experience with the scheduling tool and stay on top of updates.Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage a team of Clinician Schedulers, providing direction, support, and performance feedback to ensure efficient scheduling operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Help develop and implement clinician scheduler resources to assist the team with building schedules and executing changes based on clinician availability, practice expectations, and patient needs to optimize appointment availability.
  • Helpfacilitate the training and onboarding of new scheduling team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor scheduling practices for adherence to quality metrics and policies, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient access to clinicians.
  • Maintain a small caseload of clinicians for direct scheduling responsibilities, allowing for practical experience with scheduling tools and timely updates on operational changes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Minimum 3 years scheduling experience in a healthcare environment required, or related experience in an operations environment, ideally in a virtual care setting
  • 1-2 years of people management experience required, strong preference for experience supervising remote schedulers
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., picking up and computer / laptops) may be required
  • Good manual dexterity required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, laptop, and mobile devices)
Schedule/Shift:M-F 8am - 5pm in your time zone M-F 8am - 5pm EST for Training 2 weeks Pay: $29/hr
