- Direct supervision of a fast-paced Radiology Call Center
- Participating in hiring and training of Call Center personnel
- Working closely with the Center Director and other members of the team to ensure efficient and effective daily operations of the Call Center, quality patient care and exceptional customer service
- Providing ongoing training and support/act as a resource to the team
- Answering telephone calls in a fast-paced environment
- Accurate scheduling of multi-modality radiology studies
- Entering/confirming patient demographics and insurance information in the patient medical record
- Assist radiologists, technologists, co-workers, patients, referring physician offices as needed
- Delivering exceptional customer service/customer care
- Responding to requests for information
- Confirming of appointments/preparations
- Adherence to safety protocols
Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of prior medical scheduling experience required
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience required
- Ability to work in a fast paced, patient focused environment with heavy call volume
- Commitment to quality patient care and exceptional customer service
- Excellent communicator who can form and maintain effective working relationships with staff, radiologists, referring physicians and patients
- Detail oriented
- Bi-lingual (English, Spanish) a plus
