Where is the work:

This position has been designated as On-Site.

What you will do:

* Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Warehouse Coordinators, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery and receipt of shipments.

* Develop and execute effective scheduling and dispatching strategies for trucks and rail cars to meet customer demands.

* Track shipments from pickup through delivery, providing accurate and up-to-date information to stakeholders.

* Negotiate with transportation providers to obtain the best rates and service, and maintain strong working relationships.

* Monitor and measure service levels, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

* Process transportation requirement requests from customers, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.

* Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly metrics, MDI info & KPIs to track performance and identify trends and problems.

* Actively problem-solve any issues that arise during the shipping and receiving process, ensuring minimal disruptions to operations.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance customer service.

* Mentor and develop the Warehouse Coordinators, providing guidance and support as needed.

What you will bring:

* Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

* Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics or planning, preferably in a shipping and receiving role.

* Proficiency in logistical software and tools, with the ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and/or Alteryx or Tableau for data analysis.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

* Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

* Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Proven leadership skills and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with team members and other departments.

* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

* Influencing skills to drive process improvements and gain support from stakeholders.

* Analytical mindset, comfortable analyzing and interpreting data to make informed decisions.

* Customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $ 70,000- $80,000

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
