School Adjustment Counselor (ASL) - Middleborough, MA***Fluency in American Sign Language is required*** Job Type: Full-TimeSettings: SchoolShifts: Days (Mon-Fri)Job Description: We are looking for a School Adjustment Counselor, who will coordinate with student home school liaisons; provide support to identified families; provide counseling as a direct service to students.Roles and Responsibilities: • Collaborate with classroom teachers to embed Social Emotional Learning curriculum, co-teach SEL• Attend IEP meetings and fully implement all aspects of the IEP• Assist teachers with developing intervention plans for students• Coordinate transition planning; and provide consultation to DHH and school district staff as needed• Develop and provide interventions, programs and services that support students' social and emotional well-beingQualification/Experience: • Bachelors or Masters degree with a major in counseling, school adjustment counseling, school social work.• Experience implementing culturally sustaining counseling practices.• Successful experience counseling middle and high school students in a school settingLicenses/Certifications: • State MA Educator license• Certification as a School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor by the Massachusetts Department of EducationBenefits: • Health, Dental Insurance• Long-term, Short-term disability• Accrued sick time (15 days year one) and 3 personal days• Tuition reimbursement• Workshops/Professional development, mentorship programFor More Details: Contact: (469)-###-#### or Email: ...@protouchstaffing.com
