You will work primarily at Madison Metropolitan School District High Schools with a possibility of a mix of telehealth, community based, and in clinic care at 122 E Olin Ave in Madison, WI.Be part of something remarkableBehavioral Health providers at UW Health promote well-being, healing and recovery.We are seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to: Work primarily at Madison Metropolitan School High Schools - School Based Health Center. Provide developmentally appropriate evidence based mental health and/or substance abuse disorder treatment to adolescents and their families. Perform assessments, treatment planning, ongoing therapy, case collaboration/management, and complete related documentation. Tuition benefits eligibility - UW Health invests in your professional growth by helping pay for coursework associated with career advancement.Education:Minimum - Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or other Behavioral Health related field.Work Experience:Minimum - One (1) year of combined experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disordersPreferred - Two (2) years of combined experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.Certifications:Minimum - Unrestricted Mental Health license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS), or license eligible in the State of Wisconsin Unrestricted certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC), Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), or the substance use disorder specialty granted with the LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS), or license eligible in the State of Wisconsin (One or more years' experience working with substance abuse disorders may be considered in lieu of substance abuse certification) CPR/BLS If in Behavioral Health Youth and Family (BHYF): Must be 21 years of age to drive a patient and/or the patient's family in the employee's personal vehicle or a UW Health owned fleet vehicle.
