This is a .8 FTE position that allows you to work full-time when school is in session and to have time off that aligns with the school schedule! You will get Christmas break, spring break and up to 8 weeks off in the summer! What You Will Be DoingWorking as a School Based Liaison you will work with families, schools and other community stakeholders. Duties may include:* Screening, assessments and linking youth/families to community resources such as outpatient therapy.* Classroom observations.* Brief therapy (short-term, time-limited services).* Administer brief mental health screening tools.* Participate in school meetings such as IEP's or 504's.* Collaborate with school staff regarding behavioral and mental health needs in the school setting. * Coordination with other treatment teams within ISK. What We RequireYou will have a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field and a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred; Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW), Limited License Psychologist (LLP) preferred; Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and valid Michigan Driver's license. A minimum of 1 year of experience, 3 years preferred, working with youth with serious emotional disturbance and their families is required.You will have knowledge of the DSM V, co-occurring disorders, substance use disorders, culturally responsive interventions, evidence-based and promising practice interventions. You will be familiar with psychotropic medications and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing work environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptive to changes in policies and procedures, assist in meeting outcome measures and provide excellent clinical service to consumers. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:Physical Efforts - Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate.
