As a liaison between schools and the community, you will play a pivotal role in your work as a counselor and advocate. If you thrive on forging meaningful bonds, this opportunity is tailor made for you!The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional outpatient counseling to children in a public school-based setting. Additionally, this position includes, but is not limited to, being an advocate and resource to students, families, and staff by providing psychoeducation, staffing, processing, training, assisting individuals with applying for Medicaid, and linking to other resources. RequirementsRequirements: Current licensure in VA as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW (LMHP-R, LMHP-E, residents and supervisees will not be considered).Completed master's degree in a human services related area (counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, etc.).At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience.Valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and a reliable means of transportation.
