School Based Services Director
Northeast Kingdom Human Services is seeking a Director for School Based Services. As a member of the agency's Behavioral Health Leadership Team the Director will work to support a no wrong door approach to community service delivery and accessibility. Manage daily operations and programmatic services to achieve clinical and agency strategic plan goals. Play a key role in helping youth access their education in the least restrictive, most effective academic environment.

Essential Competencies:
* Program Growth and Development: Responsible for making data informed decisions regarding implementation of evidence-based information and practices in school mental and behavioral health. Ensure school based clinical services are delivered with fidelity to the service model. Maximizes growth through the initiation and maintenance of relationships with school and community personnel while promoting and educating each school community about available services.
* Strategic Planning: Leads the direction of the School Based Services Department by defining goals, objectives, and outcomes, as well as creating strategies to achieve them for the current fiscal year and projections for subsequent fiscal years. Establish and maintain a culture of collaboration and respect with school officials, funders, other departments within the agency, and the broader community.
* Staff Leadership: Oversees members of the School Leadership Team. Provides consistent administrative and clinical supervision to members of the school leadership team individually and in team meetings.
* Recruit/Retain Staff: Responsible for staff recruitment and on boarding.
* Contract Development and Management: Leads the School contract team as the primary contact on all referrals for school contracts. Requires working knowledge of school funding streams, current insurance reimbursement rates and current student insurance eligibilities.
* Build School and Community partnerships: Visit all schools contracting with the agency for services intermittently throughout the year and foster/develop relationships with all school leaders in the region.
* Develop and Manage Budgets: Work closely with the CFO team to develop and build a self- sustaining annual budget, ensuring efficient use of resources, and seeking additional funding opportunities through grants or partnerships.
* Program Evaluation and Quality Assurance: Establish systems for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of school based mental and behavioral health programs for youth. Ensures the School Based Services Department complies with all regulations and laws governing mental and behavioral health school services.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's degree in a relevant field (Social work, Counseling, Psychology, Education). License or Board Certified eligibility preferred.
* Five years of experience at a professional level and at least two years supervisory/team lead experience.
