DescriptionProvides school-based leadership, planning, coaching, and instructional support to educators at assigned school to support student learning and student achievement through the integration of technology; collaborates with appropriate instructional and technical staff to assist, manage, and optimize the use of instructional technology resources to support quality teaching and learning.QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two (2) years of experience in integrating technologies within the classroom.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Professional educational license.
- Knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods, and student and adult learners.
- Knowledge of both web-based educational applications and software.
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Ability to use and integrate technology as needed in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate quality instruction and programs for students and school-based staff.
- Ability to coach and mentor.
- Ability to develop and deliver professional development.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills to render solutions to various issues.
- Ability to perform basic technology troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage resources effectively.
- Ability to identify needs, create plans, and initiate actions independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
- Coursework in instructional technology, innovative learning practices, adult learning, and/or instructional design.
- Master's degree.
- Instructional technology certifications, such as ISTE Educator Certification or CAST UDL certification.
