Starting Pay Range $25.00 - $29.75 - Hourly Depending on experience
Job Description: Skyrocket Education Services provides not only Student Success support but also Business Management and Improvement for Charter Schools. The School Business Analyst will enjoy reviewing and analyzing the school sites performance and providing reports and data to the School Business Team. Come be a part of a passionate team supporting students & staff with the development of High School Education Curriculum. This role will have a home office with 25% in person days a year in the Pasadena, CA headquarters.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:* - Author reports containing actionable recommendations and analytic data.
- Participate in and contribute to meetings regarding effective use of data across departments.
- Analyze reports, marketing data, including from digital marketing, and communicate findings.
- Develop and implement worksheet templates to gather financial and spend information.
- Analyze financial data, identify spending trends, determine projection recommendations.
- Analyst school performance data for the purposes of evaluating and processing employee incentive results.
- Track business metrics and KPI's.
- Gather requirements for potential school sites and analyze demographics to support optimal enrollment.
- Assist with identifying school performance, including relative to authorizer's comparable schools.
- Assist with identifying student performance, including post high school graduation for alumni association.
- Analyze school performance and demographic makeup and track trends for charter development.
- Prepare reports and executive summaries through compiling, consolidating, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations.
- Create and conduct online surveys and analyze results.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: - Advanced mathematical skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, etc.
- Ability to create visually appealing and easy to understand reports and graphics.
Education and Experience: - BA/BS degree required.
- 1-3 years of analytics experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills - strong in Excel, or other electronic spreadsheets.
- Advanced Google Suite skills.
- Information Systems, Tableau, SQL, R or Similar, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google Ad words, Hubspot etc. experience a plus.
