Job Description:
School Consultant Duties: Behavioral Healthcare Partners is seeking qualified individuals to provide school based therapeutic services and interventions to youth who present with mental health, emotional, and behavioral concerns. In this role, you may provide individual, group, family counseling, crisis intervention as well as assessment, and diagnosis. You will collaborate with co-workers, community partners, legal guardians, and other persons and ensures coordination of services.The Organization: Since 1955, Behavioral Health Care Partners (Formally known as Moundbuilders Guidance Center) has been providing integrated mental health and addiction treatment services for youth, adults and families. Our Location: We are located at 65 Messimer Dr. Newark, OH we are a short 30-minute scenic commute from Columbus, Zanesville, and Lancaster. Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other service providers. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field with one to three years of therapy experience working with youth population. Social Worker Assistant (SWA), Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required; Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) preferred. BLS/CPR certification required. Basic computer, phone and typing skills are necessary for all positions.
