MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Two years' experience as SNP Food Assistant or work related experience 3. Basic computer skills are required for accounting, point of sale and payroll 4. Must be ServSafe Certified within 12 months of employment 5. Must complete 30-hour TID course every year until core requirements are met REPORTS TO: Manager PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. 2. Must complete O.N.E. course within the first year of employment. 3. Assign duties to staff in accordance with acceptable SNP procedures. 4. Required to follow published menu with minimal substitutions. 5. Assist with ordering of food, supplies, etc. subject to budget constraints. 6. Required to be on-site during meal service. 7. Ensure that correct portion size is being offered to all students and adults during the meal period. 8. Assist with planning food production to minimize leftover and waste by batch cooking. 9. Maintain desired standards of sanitation at all times according to the serve-safe code. 10. Must work well with faculty and staff to be a part of the school environment. 11. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. 12. Must attend all required supervisor meetings and classes. 13. Will assist staff in the production of meals as required. 14. Must maintain a good attendance record. 15. Must be capable of serving as a manager in the absence of supervisor. 16. Perform other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 185-day position. Salary based on WCBE approved salary schedule. EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by SNP Manager.
