Position Type: School Police/School Police - 10-Months Date Posted: 2/28/2023 Location: District Wide SCHOOL POLICE OFFICER School Police Officer position is available to protect and serve the students and staff of the District schools and to monitor and ensure the safety and security of students, staff, community members and property in order to create and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment. Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma. 2. PA State Police Academy Graduate or Municipal Police Officer Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) Graduate or Other Police Officer Certification. 3. Minimum 10 years of experience on the PA State Police Force, Municipal Police Department, School Police Officer, or other certified police officer. 4. CPR and First Aid Certification. 5. Weapons Proficiency Qualifications and Current Certification. Rate of Pay: $42,700/yr Terms of Employment: Not to exceed 190 work days as determined by the North Hills School Police Chief in conjunction with the Superintendent.
