The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology, with a focus on child and adolescent development, and experience in providing comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students individually or in groups to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Serve as a resource to teachers and staff regarding students' psychological and behavioral needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of school psychology.
Qualifications:
- Master's in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- State licensure as a School Psychologist (required).
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
- Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students.
