Position Type: Support Staff/School Resource Officer Date Posted: 6/28/2024 Location: Tolland Public Schools Date Available: 08/27/2024 Closing Date: Until Filled The Town of Tolland is seeking a part-time (24 hour per week) School Resource Officer (Police Officer). The pay is $32.93 per hour. The position requires POST Certified Officers or Certified State Troopers that are interested in a lateral transfer. The position is also recommended for recently retired state troopers or municipal officers. POST recertification can be accommodated. Candidates will be required to successfully complete a written examination, oral interview, and background investigation. Successful candidates will then undergo a polygraph test, psychological test, drug screening, and physical examination.
