The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the health and well-being of children and staff by providing basic medical care, administering medications, and assisting in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. This role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the medical needs of all children are met. Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer first aid and medications to children as needed.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining health plans for children with chronic illnesses (e.g., asthma, allergies, diabetes).
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate health records for each child, including immunizations and medical histories.
  • Monitor and report signs of illness or injuries to parents/guardians and provide appropriate documentation.
  • Help implement health and safety protocols in compliance with state and local health regulations.
  • Support practices and infection control policies by monitoring symptoms, ensuring proper hygiene practices, and communicating with families regarding illnesses.
  • Provide health education to staff regarding safety, hygiene, and wellness practices.
  • Ensure that all first aid kits, medical supplies, and emergency medications are stocked and accessible.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Certification.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Flexible availability between 7am and 6pm.
Preferred Qualifications:
