Attn Applicants: To apply for this position you must go directly to Forest Area Community Schools and contact Mike Moran ...@forestarea.orgFull Time Middle/High School Social Worker2024 - 2025 School Year Qualifications: State of Michigan certification or temporary approval as a school social worker (MSW with school social work credential required) Ability to organize and manage the workload in assigned schools and meet legal mandates and timelines Ability to communicate and work at a high level of quality and proficiency with students, staff, and parents, verbally and in writing Ability to provide consultation, coaching, and modeling at the building and classroom levels using current best practice in a Multi-Tiered System of Supports model Ability to train content, support practices and provide sustained coaching for a School-Wide Positive Behavior Supports System within local school buildings and individual classrooms Ability to model and teach students and staff behavioral interventions that address the needs of students at varied Tiers of Support, and can be implemented successfully within the school/classroom environment Ability to utilize PBIS tools and systems for student and program data collection and to facilitate the review, measurement of program effectiveness, and fidelity of those systemsThe district is looking for a candidate who skillfully demonstrates:
