Rudolf Steiner School seeks a colleague to teach science and mathematics courses in the Upper School (grades 7-12). Strong candidates will have mathematics and science (chemistry, biology, physics) teaching experience across most or all of the grades listed above, ideally in a Waldorf school. As members of the Upper School faculty, teachers have the opportunity to collaborate with one another on a daily basis both in the departmental area and throughout the school community. - all aspects of preparing lessons, teaching, and assessing student work;
- regular communication with students, colleagues, and parents;
- participation in regular meetings, periodic special events, and occasional class trips.
In addition to experience in disciplines mentioned above, basic requirements for candidacy are a bachelor's degree in a pertinent field (master's or higher preferred) and appreciative interest in Waldorf education.
