Teach Science Courses Teach courses within the specified curriculum that are aligned with the state standards. Develop syllabus, course outlines, curriculum, assessment plans and reports for all courses. Evaluate student outcomes. Assess students' language competency levels. Provide student advisement and recruitment services. Participate in program/division meetings. Serve on department and college committees Maintains a thorough understanding of subject material. Creates effective student learning experiences. Documents teaching performance objectives. Use formal and informal assessment strategies to monitor and manage student learning. Upholds board policies and follows administrative guidelines / procedures. Promotes a professional image of the school district. Encourages community partnerships that enhance district programs.
