Organization Unit:Global Life Sciences Solutions USA LLCWe are looking for a skilled chemist to join our chemistry team. You will be joining a team that develop advanced materials sets for life science applications. This requires problem solving skills, teamwork, time management, and a commitment to excellence in performing hands-on chemistry. This is a wet lab operation so skill using lab equipment and materials along with exceptional attention to detail to meet our quality standards is expected.Responsibilities:-Drive continual improvement of Membrane products through process development and design changes resulting in high performance, process robustness and cost effectiveness.-Daily management of technology development with respect to quality and process characterization, on time delivery, inventory, and productivity.-Drive consistent process controls and work with cross-functional team for technology transfer to manufacturing.-Problem identification, root cause analysis, and countermeasure development, verification and implementation.-Disposition of non-conforming material. Generate and submit ECOs for manufacturing related changes.-Be a back-up for other R&D associates in the development of new technologies.Required:-BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent. Hands-on experience working in a R&D and/or manufacturing environment a plus. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.-Ability to document and communicate technical details clearly.-Ability to work in cross-functional teams as well as independently.-Ability to adapt quickly to new projects and challenges.-Creative thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills.-Ability to multi-task. Willing to work overtime as needed.Desirable:-Experience with polymer chemistry, organic chemistry and analytical chemistry.-Experience with design of experiment (DoE)
